For our institute for Software Technology in Braunschweig we are looking for a
Student computer science or similar (f/m/x)
Design and development of web applications, interactive dashboards and visualizations 
What to expect:
There is an exciting opportunity for motivated students with solid JavaScript skills to support us in our different projects related to space, science and society. You will be a part of a visual analytics team of the Visualization group at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Braunschweig. 
 
Primarily, you will be involved in designing and developing web applications, interactive dashboards and visualizations. You will be working on React and typescript technologies. A good understanding of Git version control systems is needed for this role. Enthusiastic students can also assist us in our research activities. Promising students would be given preference for their bachelor's or master's thesis with us. Internships can be offered based on performance.
 
Due to the nature and sensitivity of our projects, this job does not allow to work remotely and one has to be present at our Branschweig office.

What we expect from you:
  • pursuing bachelor or master degree in Computer or Mathematical Science or similar 
  • ideally good experience in JavaScript and its different web framework React/Angular and typescript
  • good experience in Git version control system advantageous
